How we protect it
Files on your computer
The desktop app reads and changes files in the working folder and can run tools on your computer. Protection of locally stored files depends on your device and its settings.
AI and connected services
AI requests can include prompts and file content needed for a task. Connected services also process information when you use them. Review the terms and privacy notices for any connected services you use. Review which information a task needs before using sensitive content.
Model access through Nodejam
The desktop app connects to Nodejam’s model relay over HTTPS. This protects that connection in transit; it does not establish how every connected service stores or retains information.
Your work
You can inspect and use the files Nodejam creates on your computer. Review generated work and proposed external actions before relying on the result or approving an action.
Company requirements
Contact us to discuss company requirements, which controls are available in the desktop product and the scope of an enterprise agreement.
Reporting a vulnerability
If you believe you have found a security vulnerability in Nodejam, email security@nodejam.com with a description of the issue, reproduction steps, and the affected component. We acknowledge reports within two business days and keep you informed until the issue is resolved.
Please do not access or modify other users’ data beyond what is needed to demonstrate the issue, and give us reasonable time to remediate before any public disclosure. We do not pursue good-faith research conducted under these rules.
